specific gravity question?

My tank is down around 1.022, want to bring it up to 1.025, how fast can I do this? I have a couple of fish, damsel, blue/greens and a firefish, also a feather duster and some frags of zenia and a small 1" polyp. Thanks in advance,,,,,,,,,

in my experience nothing will notice that jump really...just a couple days ago mine was at about 1.029 (i was gone and no one did topoffs) but i just filled it up to the top and got it back to 1.026 which is where i keep it...nothing changed whatsoever.

so i'd say mix your saltwater and then instead of toping off w/freshwater, maybe do it w/saltwater? thats such a small jump that it would only take a couple 3 days or so..

I'd probably take about a week to do, just topping off with mostly saltwater, as suggested.

You can also drip the new water into the tank after you take some out. I have mine set to about a drop every 3 seconds and that's my water change.

I would just do it over the course of a week.. add saltwater instead of fresh as topoff.
