Any purigen Info!!!

Does anyone use purigen in their sump at all.. my brother uses it in his 33g and said it works kind of like a skimmer..

anyone have any info about purigen?

It's great for water polishing, but I wouldn't go so far as say it works like a skimmer. It's pretty much like carbon on steroids.

Word of warning, I tried to "regen" the stuff by soaking it in bleach, then water and Prime as directed and it just about wiped out all of my SPS and anemones. I guess I didn't get all of the chlorine out of the stuff.

I would use it again, but will never try to clean and re-use the stuff.
