the site, i agree. it sounds to good to be true. look in the Better Buisness Bureau for buisness accts. or the city location for a buisness liscense. (city hall, records) the bulbs alone cost more than that. and the skimmer its cheap also. REEF-ON!!!

I wouldn't get it because it says that it uses a 175w double ended bulb. They are the only place I know of that sells the bulbs so you will be limited on bulb options.
You can build your own for just a little more with a good bulb. I bought a PC light fixture from them at one time and had no problems with it but I only had it for a month before upgrading to VHO's I have heard that if something goes wrong their customer service is terrible. |

i ordered pc bulbs and a t5 ho fixture from them. Took me about 4 days to get someone on the phone. Turns out the bulbs were delivered and the t5 fixture was back ordered. my refund came back 2 weeks later.
Lots of ppl buy that MH fixture with no problems, but when ppl do have problems it involves things catching on fire so i don't think it is worth the risk. |

If you look at the pictures of the optional bulbs, the box in the picture actually says HQI-150w. Strange... I guess 305 watts sounds more exciting that saying 280 watts...fishy.
I'm very tempted to gamble and get the 36" version for my basement frag tank...but I've got some serious 'CHEAPO CRAPPO' flags going off.

If you can do a search here on fire or capacitor or even the search feature over on nano-reef.com... or aquatraders.com .. do a search on that .
Yeah.. bad stuff. Husband and i are redesigning our 55 since we had bought crap lights early on and want to get the right stuff before a drop of water goes near the tank. Check out the lights on reefgeek.com or hellolights.com Edit: also aquatraders usually sells bulbs "Free with system" which means its their loophole to make you pay (in shipping or other means) to replace the typically broken ones you'll receive.
