Exclamation What to do with all this WATER!

Ok guys: I have saved 8 containers of water change in these garbage cans(144L) purchased from Canadian Tire. The idea being to use it in setting up my new 180. Well since then (started 4 months ago) I have read that toxins may be released into the water from some of these containers? I put a powerhead in each container for circulation during storage. Should I still use this for the new fill up or start from scratch? Thanks for any of your views on this. Dass

If the containers are not food grade rated then I would toss the water.
