I haven't been able to get the how it works to play properly.

It is quite tacky, but could be interesting if someone decides to change the toilet seat and cover and do some mods to add some interesting lighting.

A good friend of mine owns a very high end kitchen / bathroom / spa showroom and he has the sink in his store. I belive they are made in Italy...anyway, he sold two of them last year.

how does this "sink tank" not suffer from tempeture flucuations due to the hot/cold water from the facent water running over it?

From what I've read on other pages the fish tank area surrounds the flushable water so it does not affect the water level in the tank area.
