Chiller Recommendations for my 40 Gallon Uniquarium
Hi there,
Could someone recommend what would be good chiller for me to get? I currently have a 40 gallon uniquarium, but its more like 28 to 30 gallons of saltwater as I have live rock in it and live rock for the biological filtration. I don't have any reefs, and only five saltwater fishes. However, I believe due to the high temperature my cleaner shrimp and hermit crab had died. My tank is between 86 to 88 degrees now, it use to be 76 to 78 degrees, but now its already Summer my tank temparature has risen. I am having a hard time looking for an affordable chiller but can't seem to find one and was wondering what would be a good chiller to purchase, I would like to spend less than $200. Currently I am putting frozen platic water bottles in it but the temparature of the tank melts the frozen bottle pretty fast. I've read about the Ice Probe, but didn't read too much good news about it. Any help would be great. Thanks a lot. |
