Aquabee 2000/1

One of my pumps just went bad in my skimmer (DAS - BX2).

Anybody know where I can get a new one or a different pump that is a replacement. I think that Ehiem pump are close to the same size.

I don't think Deltec will replace it, but Finsreef might. They both use this pump on their skimmers. You can PM Doug on the Deltec forum and see what he says. His username is 1diverdown. I'm sure he'll help you one way or another.

Holy Crap. 269.00 per pump. I might as well buy a ASM. I gotta see if an eheim pump will fit. Does anybody have a 1260 that they could get measurements to see if it will fit my skimmer

The eheims from deltec and H&S are modified, you can't just drop a needle wheel in the eheim and it will work. More likely the needle wheel you plan on throwing in the eheim won't even fit.

What is currently wrong with your pump? How old is the pump? It may be able to be salvaged.

It doesnt work at all. I have tried different outlets checked my breakers. I have taken the neddle wheel out of the working one and tried that. still nothing. Im pretty sure that the pump is around 2 years old. but again I bought it used. We just had a pretty bad storm and the power was out for 13 hours. we might have got a power surge.

Any help is accepted.

Thanks

Aaron
