sickly open brain?

I've bought a red a green open brain 2 wks. ago. He looked kinda recessed and a bit brownish around the edges when I first got him. Last week he started looking real good. Fully inflated no skeleton visable at all. This week he looks like it did when I first introduced him. He's on the sandbed ,plenty of light and low to moderate flow. Will accept krill. I have a metallic green brain thats the size of softball ,it looks fine. Any ideas on what I could try to help stabilize this little guy? Any input welcomed. Curt

Try moving brain into a stronger flow. Or shift the brain clockwise a 1/4 turn with one end up a little higher than the other. Give it a few days, if no change move it again. Some brains have a side or end they like to pointing up, or higher than than the rest of it. I have a large red brain that only likes to sit with one specific end facing up. Both of my brains like stronger flow for some reason. Try this it worked for me. Good luck.
