Heater Suggestions?
I am about to order my heaters and would like some suggestions. Its for a 120g tank with a 20g sump so I am thinking 3 100w Heaters. I want a few small heaters ove 1 big heater to prevent malfunctions.

Go with Jager. They are quite good.
If I were you I would put a 500-800 watt finnex on there with a Ranco controller.

I've had some smaller Jager heaters and they have been great so far. MUCH better temperature accuracy than my old RENA heater.

Jager heaters are glass correct? I was under the impression that glass heaters werent good ... I thought titanium was much better.

I have been very satisfied with the Finnex heater and controller I bought last fall. This was after the Won heaters blew a gasket. The quality of the Finnex is the best I have seen in a heater.

Technically you could just use heaters that are "stuck on" because you will be using them with a controller.
That said, I like my visi-therm stealth heaters. They automatically shut off if out of water, not made of glass, and I have found them to be accurate.

just make sure whatever you get you get a titanium heater. glass heaters inevitably break and can fry everything in your tank. thats coming from word of mouth AND experience.
