which test kit to use with cupramine?

ok i've got a QT tank set up and am treating with copper (cupramine) but have the AP copper test solution kit that you add 10 drops to, but it doesn't seem to register. What is the best kit to use with this type of copper treatment?

Heres the scoop on Cupramine- you need to get a Seachem multitest copper test kit. With cupramine you will find that you need to add more than it says. Even in a bare QT as it should be.

Keep records of tests and how much you add.

You will need to do a test every day!! and add as needed.

A 10G QT is too small. Maybe good for one small fish at a time.

Treating with copper is a good idea for new arrivals because they may be carring more than one type of parasite or fluke.

If you know that you just have ICh, like in a show tank, then you might want to try No SIck Fish. I'm doing a test right now and it does seem to work.
