Unhappy brown jelly cure????

does anyone know how to treat a green gonipora with brown jelly? do the treatments work? I have been using the iodine dip..still it keeps coming back...dont want to lose this coral...please help

In all of the studying I have done regarding the gonipora coral with brown jellly it's very difficult if not impossible to cure. Most die very rapidly once they get it. To top this off it's very difficult to keep them much past a year in captivity. Some folks have but very few. Do a goggle search on the gonipora and you will come across several good websites with lots of information.

Try one of the the other coral dip products. Their base seems to be iodine but I would guess they contain more than that for possibly a broader effectiveness.
Tropic Marin PRO-CORAL CURE have heard good things or
Seachem Reef Dip have used personally with mixed results
