Acrylic Degredation

I know that there is a difference between extruded and cell cast acrylic, but I can't remember which one is the type that is used for marine aquariums. Obviously, you wouldn't want to use the
"bad" one to make a tank out of, but what about using it for baffles? I know I have the "bad" one, but I would like to use it for something useful. How quick does the "bad" one degrade?

The 'bad one', extruded, doesnt really degrade. Its just not as clear, and not as strong. Its fine for baffles. Just make sure you use a reasonably thick piece, or it'll bow and pull away from the joints.

If its good enough for deltec, its good enough for baffles.

Sweet. Thanks. I thought that it was Extruded that wasn't as good. But I couldn't remember.
