Shrimp Food

Im getting a candy pistol shrimp and cleaner shrimp do i need to feed it any thing special. I feed cyco-ezee and mysis will that work.

They will want meaty food, mysis, brine shrimp plus, that sort of thing...They are timid, so hold a little in your fingers and they will come and eat it out of your hand this way, you make sure it gets food.

why not the hand part? well for the pistol, your right...but the cleaner will be fine..if you have a cut on your hand and you put it in the tank he will clean the cut ...he can not harm you.

i dont know i dont think i want it near my hand it might take me a while to get used to that. I do though hand feed my turtle so mabye this wont be that hard.

the cleaner will not take long to get used your hand, and it is alot of fun actually...after a while he will come over to your hand anytime it is in the tank, cause it has stuff he can clean....

Jeff Corwin, on one of his shows let one in his mouth to clean it was awesome...if I could fit in my tank I would do it.

it is fun letting them on your hand...it kinda tickles. There is no way they will hurt you.

Current Tank Info: 6 gal nano (soon will be converted into a mantis tank) 5.5 Mantis Tank (will move into the 6 gallon soon), 12 gallon nano (6 gallon critters will move in soon) Building a 90 gallon Reef with 30 gallon sump...will start cycling it as soon.
