Can you use super glue underwater?
I need to glue some coral.

It seems as though I have a strong dislike for money. Everytime I get some, I want to get rid of it. Current Tank Info: 50 gal with 40 gal sump . Hang on refugium. LPS and fat fish. Layers of Green Algae. |

get the super glue gel, place some glue onto the bottom of the frag, then put it into the position you want and hold for a few minutes. works like a charm!

Yes, as stated above though, the "super glue GEL" not liquid.
Best bet to get the frag to stick, if its got a skeleton base, is to dab the frag with a papertowel, goop some sgg onto it, blow lightly on it for about 5 secs, then wedge/twist into where you want and hold for a couple mins. HTH. Good Luck and Happy Reefing!! Brianna

That technique works fine. You can also place the glue in the tank and then place the frag on it. You have to be rather quick though.

I think you will get better results if you use it outside of the aquarium. Most corals can handle it for few minutes.
