My pencil urchin is eating my xenia!

So... I've long suspected by pencil urchin (received as a hitchhiker on the live rock, hes a tough cookie) was somehow involved in the disappearence of various Xenia stalks around my tank. Now, I have proof. I have seen him cover a stalk which got loose and drifted into a crack, which he then proceed to make disappear within about 2 days. I've tried laying out some nori in his normal roaming area, which was mostly ignored.

Any advice? My Xenia can easily keep up with the eating rate of the urchin, but it kinda upsets my paired clowns hosting behavior (they host within the not-urchin-proof xenia stalks ). If he needs to go, any advice on moving him without taking rocks out? He holds on very tightly.

Thanks in advance!
