clean your protein skimmer

how often do u need to do a full out cleaning on your protein skimmers??

clean the cup as much as needed. Complete clean, 2 - 4 weeks. Dont bleach or nothing cause it grows a natural biological filtration

I clean out the cup and bubble sponge of my ASM G3 once a week. I've had the skimmer running for 7 months now and I took it apart once to clean the rest in that time and found that there really wasnt anything to clean so I havent bothered doing it again. But I'll probably make it a habbit to take a look inside everything once every six months.
