Caution test kits!!!
Well as you all know I removed bio balls except a few at bottom, but are sumerged. went to the local FS and they were out of single Nitrate kit and he said here some test strips that he was using and were in the bottle, so I took them home and did test still showed 40 to 50 ppm on Nitrate level, hmmm I was thinking Ok I do the usual ( research) ask around and 95% say test strips are not acurate. So finally store had single only Nitrate kit, so I bought and came home and tested. 10 to 20ppm, hmm I'm thinking I did do a test with strips before I took bio balls out and with bio balls out. And was the same reading. Note: did do water change and then used test strips still same reading, Well anyway I hope this helps for people using test strips, I sure found out the hard way.
