Suggestions for QUIET skimmer?

I have a 45g tank in the family room, so I'm not looking to increase the background noise any (the kids are enough white noise - lol). Can anyone suggest a good skimmer that is very quiet? I've read here a lot about ASM, Coralife, Deltec, Euroreef and Reef Octopus as all being good, but which of these wouldn't you notice when they are on?

i have a deltec Ap600 and it is Very quiet....Can't hear it unless you are right up on it with the cabinet door open..

I have a euro reef and it is quiet. I don't have any doors on my cabinet yet and my Iwaki pump is louder than my euro reek skimmer.

My mistake - I am looking for an HOB skimmer, so it will be out in the open.
