I think its a Sebea anemone. If so, these are much harder to keep right? Should I get rid of it or return it?

"Purple Tip Sebae" aka "Heteractis crispa"
Based on research (yes, which you could have done prior to purchase) these are VERY hard to keep in reef tanks especially one of yours' size. "Should I get rid of it or return it?" - Both of these options I hope refer to the latter if possible. Phenominal picture however if you took it. Good luck. |

I would keep it I put one in my tank back in Oct and has been doing great. It is now hosting my clown and has grow to the size of a dinner plate9see my gallery photos "white seabee") It seems to be very hardy and takes food 3 times per week.

I guess I bought on impulse....something I never do.
Yeah I took the picture today as soon as I got my girlfriend's camera (Nikon 8 MP).
Anyways, you're right I should have done some more research. I bought this one on impulse. This was my first ever buy on impulse for anything in this hobby. For those of you who know me here, I usually ask ten million questions before buying anything. I guess I figured if I can handle a Derasa clam, I should handle an anemone. As of now, everything looks good, seems very healthy (other than the color as some have mentioned. I'll post any new pictures if things seem to change, and if I have to exchange or something I will. Thanks for all your responses. Right now its probably the size of a big salad plate. A little bigger than a cereal bowl. I also took this picture (feel free to look at my gallery):

Don't use the flash | HD video on RC possible?
If I am not mistaken its a digital Nikon L2 or something like that I believe. Its not mine but my girlfriend's. The camera cost about $300+ so its not that expensive. The best thing you can do is take pictures without the flash and be very steady. All these pictures I have taken (see gallery) are all without the flash and without any photoshop. I consider myself a beginner, so you can only imagine what the professionals here on RC have to display with their truly professional camera. If you are planning on taking real up close pics, go with Nikon. I don't think anything is better at upclose (macro) than Nikon. If you want a more blue color, I have read that Sony cameras are good at this.
Also, I am in the process of buying a camcorder and I am looking into getting an HD camcorder. I want to post HD video here on RC but don't know if thats possible. Maybe via links or something. So thats my new topic to research. Thanks!
