padding for floor for steel stands
I'm really liking the look of the power coated steel stands. My Question is what do you put on the bottom of your steel stands?
I have marble and wood floors in my house. And i'd certainly hate to get any of those scratched by the steel stand. |

I use spare burbur carpet. Mine house had leftovers when it was installed in my basement so I use it to protect my wood floors. If you don't have extra it can easily be picked up even for free at a carpet stoor if you don't mind the colors. Ask for scraps or just go around back and dumpster dive. Don't worry, all they throw away is carpet so you wont have mixed in food with it.

You can even cut rubber strips from an old tire inner tube and contact glue it to the bottom of the stand.
