Schuran Jetstream Pico

anybody using this?

I saw it at a LFS today and was impressed with the quality of build and the fact that it's about 2/3 smaller than other reactors I've seen.

My MRC CR-2 has been a PITA since the beginning. Constantly leaks, can't get a good seal, kinda loud . . . i was thinking about just selling it and getting the Schuran

it would be going on a 120g

The only drawback I've seen is finding people that have one in stock, and finding media for it. If you've got both, it should be great.

I used one on my prop system (about 100gal. total) for about 6-9 months and was really impressed with it. I eventually broke it down and sold it because I moved but did sell it to Sean (seanandjen on LARC). Might want to check with him and see if he set it up and what he thinks of it.

I have a Pico on my 135 and it works well, I may sell and jump up to the jetstream 1 as it may be a little under acheiving for my gallons, but they are awsome units.

funny you say that- last night I sent sean a message asking how he liked it. I was at Rick's in Kenner yesterday and he had mentioned sean having had one . . .

Yeah, Rick sold that one to me. They really are nice reactors and for your 120 I think it would be perfect.
