Reef Cleaning Package
Hello.
I have a 80 gallon tank, FOWLR. I just put my first fish in last week, currently have 4 damsels (3-stripped, yellow-tail, green chromis, and canary). I now need to find a good set of tank janitors. After looking around online for a few days, I found this deal for $99 off of saltwaterfish.com Turbo/Astrea Snail: 20 Scarlet Hermit Crab: 20 Blueleg Hermit Crab: 20 Emerald Crab: 3 Cleaner Shrimp: 2 Is this a good set? 40 Hermit crabs seems like a lot of hermit crabs. It is a good idea to put Emerald crabs in my tank? I remember reading somewhere on RC.com that you should only put hermit crabs in your tank, and not crabs. Will any of the crabs bother my fish or shrimp? Does anyone know of any other places to buy a good set of tank janitors? Any advise or thoughts would be great. Thanks! |

Seems like a decent deal but a lil recommendation...
get a refugium - minimizes need for clean up crew - removes nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate - provides a breeding ground for copepods etc... - macro algae provides a natural food source for Tangs ant others |
