ro/ di unit not working as well

I got a 5 stage do / di unit and it was producug .005 water.

After sitting for about a month its producing .065.

The unit has only made about 200 gallons so far.

can I back wash it ot something?

Try running it for a half an hour or so then remeasure. I find that the tds measurement drops after I run it a while. I think the problem comes from constant pressure on the RO membranes and wouldn't occur if an electronic selonoid were used on the supply side.

I'll try it.

I turn the water supply to the unit off when not in use.
