Peristaltic Squeaking

I bought a peristaltic pump from reefdosingpumps.com. The pump's been operating well.. it drips topoff water slowly into the tank with no issues. However, the wheel that turns, creates a very loud and annoying "squeak" every single time it comes around and comes in contact with the tubing set. Anyone ever have this problem? Anything I can do about it? It's driving me absolutely nuts.

It might just need some lubrication. Does the manual give you any help at all?

nope, the manual was a single page. i put a little lubricant on the tubing, which made it worse, actually. Wiped off the lubricant... but it's still really squeaky.

Is the tube squeaking, or is it the roller that gets moved over the tubing? I have a Master-Flex, and the roller is an actual mechanism that needs some lubrication on its axle. I don't know anything about your pump, though.

it should be the tubing, as the wheel doesn't squeak when the tubing isn't affixed.

Mine squeaks, but I put some oil in all of the roller axles. The sound will go away.
