by nature damselfish are territorial, very territorial at times.. sounds like it is telling the other that "this is MY space" ... chances are this will continue.

I had a couple of Dominos in my fish only tank and they constantly picked on all of the other fish, which were also all bigger than them too. I will probably get hella-flamed here but it got to the point where they killed a couple expensive fish of mine so I moved them to temporary holding tank - and I mean REAL temporary - my TOILET. Hey, it could have been worse - I could have pooped on them before I flushed
Anyway, they really ****ed me off so whatever. I suggest you go and get your $2 credit for him because the madness will never stop until he is the only one left in your tank. In case you don't know by now, I hate Dominos

I would have to agree, get the domino out as soon as you can. It will only get worse.

well, just from my experience, with 2 damsels, one will always pick on the other. but i noticed that when I had several damsels, the tank was always bustling w/scurrying and chasing as it was more evenly distributed. i actually enjoyed the fights and skirmishes b/c it made the tank more interesting. also, when I had damsels, they would really pick on each other, completely left the other fish alone. not really telling you to get more damsels, but just from my own experience
