It's an aquatraders model. Nothing from aquatraders is really all that great. However, I got my light from Hombby on ebay, and when the ballast blew, he replaced it within 3 days of being notified.

Looks extremely similar to the CPR style overflow, which has all sorts of bad reviews. I realize it's not the same item, but it's the same style so it likely has the same drawbacks (flooding dangers due to clogged air hose/pump).

I just bought a Lifereef overflow. I've been looking, and they are supposed to be the best. Never lose siphon, do not need a pump like an AquaLifter. I haven't gotten it yet. Supposed to be shipped today. So...

My research said this is the one. It' $120 or so, however and 700 gph

Don't count on that. If they start getting air bubbles trapped in them then they will loose siphon just like any other u- tube overflow.

The CPR style overflows work just fine IF they are setup correctly.
