What lighting for Cheato/Caulerpa

I'm just starting a fuge and I have a small 8watt clamp on light. Will this be enough light to grow Cheato/Caulerpa?

The CF bulbs will support your cheato but you may have to turn it over occasionally to get equal lighting and growth. Slower growth.

The tube fluorescent bulbs will give you faster growth.

Either is fine as cheato is not very demanding .

I switched to a 175w true 6500k MH bulb and it's growing mad now. Any of the HD lighting I tried it would just die. HTH. Sean.

I use 2x24w T5ho with the cheap GE 6500K bulbs, and my cheato grows amazingly fast now... I mean really fast... I mean 2-4 gallon bags exported weekly just to keep the size manageable.

I had CF before, and it grew really slow or died.
