how long for skimmer to start

So I got my live rock in yesterday and last night fired up my Bak Pak skimmer for the first time. How long until the skimmer should start collecting stuff. I peeked this AM at it and the collection cup looked empty

If the rock is un-cured it should start producing waste in the cup after several days. Otherwise it may take a little longer to break-in. You might have to mess with the air/water input over several days to get better results.
