clown and anenomea

I have had a sebae anenomea in my tank for about a week now and I just purchased a Clarki clown today for my tank also. I was told that this clown wold host in this anenomea and so far all the clown does is swim up and down the side wall. I did just put him in today but so far he has shown no interest in the anenomea at all. I watched him in the store for a good hour and compared him with the others of his kind, and he was by far the most active. Wasn't hiding the whole time, at with gusto, and had the best looking complection and color of the 4 I looked at. He still eats good in my tank so maybe he is just nervous. I don't know I am brand new to this and I really hoped the clown and anenomea would go together. Do they usually go right together with each other if they are going to? How long could it take, days, weeks, months? Please help.

You need patience, your clown will go in when and IF he is ready.
I have a pair of false percs that took a yr. and half before they dived into a pair of hairy mushrooms.

He will host that anemone in time. Clarki's will host any host anemone as they are found every where that they are. I used to have black ocellarus (sold them) that would host a frog spawn, ritteri, bubble tip, sebae, and pretty much anything else that resembled an anemone. They never hosted anything until i stressed them out and moved them into another tank. I find that if there's something in the tank that may be a threat to them they will be more likely to host the anemone, though I'm not saying to put an "evil" fish in the tank that can hurt them i'm just stating what i find works for me. Ive got pretty much any type of clown to host in any type of the host anemones (over he years).
