Well, I finally decided to upgrade for MJ to Seios and now the Seio is clicking all the time. If I turn the flow way down it will stop, but I have to significantly reduce the flow. Has anybody had similar experiences? Am I doing something wrong?
At this point in time I'm glad I only purchased one! |

Mine makes a vibrating noise, so I keep resetting it using the 'test' button on my GFCI...It will quiet down after a few pushes.

my 820 did the same thing
My 820 use to click all the time and then one day it just stopped. The powerhead was relatively new, so i thought it was just breaking in. I did take it apart to see if anything had made it it inside the powerhead, then I gave it a good bath in veinegar and water, and now after time it has worked flawlesly for 6 months.

My Seio powerhead is connected to a cycling timer and clicks everytime the power cycle is turned back on. It startled the fish a bit at first, but they love the powerhead so much that my tang, all three baby clownfish and the two chromis in my tank ALL hang out by it at night. (the clownfish in fact don't leave it during the day either....)
I learned to ignore the clicking, since no one in my tank seems to mind it. Works fine anyway.
