What sand do you use?

I'm currently setting up my nano aquarium and plan to have a jawfish which need a deep sand bed......My sandbed in my 75 is always dirty on top[ and never looks clean (bits of rock mixed on top, alagae, ect) so whether its my caretaking or the sand itself I'd like to avoid this....... what type of sand do you sue and is your sandbed clean (pics preferred)

Having things that stir up your sand helps keep mine white.

For me it is a very large hermit, but I would not recommend them, I just got lucky with a big teddy bear.

I have a 75 gallon and just use the cheap playsand from Lowes. Its just the silica sand. I have a diamond goby that keeps things looking good. It looked like crap for a long time till I added him.
