90 gallon sump?

Soon I will be purchasing a new 300 gallon, 8 ft tank. My questions lie with the filtration. This will be FOWLR.

I am planning the following:

AGA sump#4 with Eheim 1262 return pump
200 lbs live rock
150 or so lbs live sand

Heres the ?

I have a spare 90 All Glass tank that Ive been thinking about using as a very large sump. What would be the best way to go about this? I want to do this because it gives me much more freedom to use a larger skimmer than with just the sump #4. PLus it will increase total water volume. Now is this something that sounds good or what? How could I connect the 90 gallon tank to the sump#4??

hows about using sump#4 as a refugium with chaeto

and using the 90 for water changes and equipment

you would have to plumb some of your return water to the display to the fuge/sump#4 and have that water spill back to the 90.

Which ever approach you take should include the 90 in some way or another, Thats a nice size sump/ refugium in the making.

ANy ideas on a skimmer? I was think an ASMG4x? Or considering the size of the sump what about 2 G3's? Or would that just be stupid? Remember the tank will have large eating machines living in it!

Can recirculating skimmers be used inside the sump itself?
