Paint in aquarium?

I am going to be setting up a closed loop but don't want the white PVC look. Is there any paint that would be safe so that I could have black pipes?

I was unaware of black PVC pipe. Is it an LFS thing or can you get it at a hardware store?

The black stuff is actually ABS, which is not PVC (and is not rated for potable water systems - though people use it without incident). The grey stuff (schedule 80) is good though

ahh...so its time to get technical......
the "grey" stuff is schedule 80...but not intended for water use....its for electrical conduit use..........so there....
regardless.....the man wants to use paint to paint white PVC to make it black. The lesser of the two evils is to use "abs" black ....
?

Sounds like the ticket to me! I'm surprised that with the time I have spent at Lowe's I haven't seen it. Thanks...

if you cant get what you need krylon fusion has no side effects, i used regular krylon to paint my maxijet mod and as long as the paint is dry for 24 hours its all good.
