Pom Pom lighting
What's is the minimum lighting I should have on my tank to keep the pom pom crab(Lybia tesselata) happy? I know it doesn't need metal halides or anything, but right now it is in a tank that does not have lighting in it and I am a little scared to put it in with some of the other animals I have yet.(It is sooo small) BTW what is the normal full grown size of a pom pom?
I have the "MINI AQUALIGHT WITH 1-9 WATT 10,000K / 1-9 WATT TRUE ACTINIC 03 BLUE LAMP" from coral life I have been putting next to the tank while I was curing some LR. Would this be ok? |

Did you find him at a local shop or on the net?
I loved my Pom Pom. I believe mine got to have about a 3/4" body and was about 1 1/2" from knuckle to knuckle. I'm not sure on the lighting.....mine was under two ReefMax 250w metal halide kits with ReefMax 10K bulbs in a 90 gal reef. Good luck with finding out more. Kevin |
