Can toadstool be exposed to air
Can toadstool be exposed to air when moving it into my tank. I know with some sponges you can't expose them to air at all. But if Im correct toadstool is a leather.

Yes it can take air exposure.

Thank you for your help....The people at the LFS are not much help when it comes to information about the corals we buy.

yes ... i just added one to my tank and exposed him to air while doing so. other than frogfish, sponges and gorgonians, i believe that everything else can be exposed to air briefly without ill effects.

Gorgonians shouldn't be exposed to air? I had one of mine out recently and have not noticed any ill effects. { oops }

I haven't heard that gorgonians have problems with air exposure, and mine has been through that repeatedly as well.
