coralife pureflo 2 RO/DI unit
are they any good?
i assume the di unit is standing? is this ro/di unit ansi/nsf certified? would this work for my well water? i know water chemistry is part of the commandments of reefing but i can't be spending loads on water equipment, so please if their are and which i know there will be other "options" brought please lets keep em kinda of cheap but not to cheap where they qualify to be one part shy of being a p.o.s. thats just an ornament on the wall. did some research and looks like???? that the 4 stage pureflo 2 is the horizontal DI and if i use an attachable DI from coralife on a pureflo 2 3 stage then its the verticle, i hope. is this correct? i notice that if my water pressure is not adequete enough i would need a ro pump that would run me a hair under 200 bucks from kent marine called the rp-50 which would bring water pressure up to 50psi. how could i determine if i have enough water pressure?? does the hanna istrument "phep 5" work good for TDS readings?? oh and by the way, here is a link for the tester http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113074 and a link for the solutions http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...=6&pCatId=4512 can anyone make heads or tails out of this?? if you haven't noticed my place of shopping is http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/Shop.cfm?N=2004 and if you mention a product please be a pale and let me know of a "REPUTABLE" dealer online, hint i am not on to shop over the phone and only know of drsfostersmith being good to me. thanks for the help, if i get any which i probably will. thanks again. |
