Not sure if it would affect the fish, but the alk seems really high. I think proper alk would be about 8-12 dkh.

Have you noticed what the fishes poo looks like?

y`know I`m virtually certain shes pregnant.......now swimming round a little hole in rock on sandbed and theres a queue of crabs and the coral banded shrimp waiting for the drop!!!

Didnt think they were mature enough....the male is tiny (1") and female not much bigger but far more rounded.

What next?

It is possible that the female is pregnant. I assume you ruled out a recent overfeeding or gorging. Just watch her. The pair will nip at the surrounding rocks and eventually, you will see her ovipositor drop, which looks like a little white tube.
