Help!!!

GURGLY, GURGLY ! It's driving me crazy. 120 gallon with two overflows. I can't get one of them to stop gurgling! When I first got the tank it had just a straight pipe and I knew this wasn't going to work so I researched and researched and came across numerous threads etc. and decided to implemented a Durso system. The return is a 1" ID so I went aheadd and stepped up the size towards the bottom to 1-1/4" for a short distance then back to 1" for the "T" and upside down "90" for the water to flow into. Drilled a hole in the cap of the "T" and even put a flow regulator on it so I could adjust the amount of air escaping. After numerous adjustments I finally got it to stop gurgling. But now every time anything changes (add water, stick my hand in the tank, fish swims by, well not that bad) it goes out of balance and starts to gurgle again. I let it go but it never comes back in balance so I start tweaking again and maybe it will stop gurgling. But the last time it got out of balance I couldn't get it dialed back in, so now it's gurgling away. Some sites suggested sticking another tube threaded through the "90" and into the return pipe to remove air, but that didn't help either. Would it help if I increased the size of the "T" and inlet to 1-1/4" to slow down the water velocity entering the drain? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated cause I really need a goods night sleep with no gurgling.

When you added this pipe did you cap the top and drill a small hole in it. Ive seen many threads where this has helped noise significantly. You need to adjust the drill hole though. to small or too large will still be noisey.

Yes I capped the top of the "T" and drilled a hole. I even added a regulator to this hole so I could essentially adjust the size of the hole. I can usually get it to drain quitely after messing with it for a little while but as soon as I add water or even stick my hand in the tank it starts to gurgle and won't stop without having to "re-tweek". And as of now even the re-tweeking didn't work and I can't get it to stop gurgling.
