1/4 hp Coralife Aquachill NOT WKG

Brand new ran for two months, now it will not chill. The compressor seems to overheat and quit after about 2 minutes. The "chiller on" light then flashes.

Is my diagnosis correct?

I am waiting to hear back from ESU. This is the second chiller they have sent me!

Please advise. many thanks!

Do you have it away from the wall? Make sure you have enough room around it, and do not have it in the cabinate under the tank.

Criminal#58369 made a good suggestion. I have the same chiller. I've had it in a well ventilated area for about 2years with no problems. Was the last one doing the samething?
