Nori/Seaweed for tangs - suggestions?

I've been feeding my yellow and regal tang nori and the green/purple seaweed from the LFS. They seem to prefer the nori, and I stick with that mostly because its a little sturdier.

But, it still falls apart. I've tried a single piece unfolded, folded over a few times like a roll, a couple pieces folded, etc, and no matter what, half of it ends up floating around the tank (which none of the fish will touch).

Does anyone have any suggestions for a seaweed for tangs that won't fall apart after 5 minutes in the water? So much goes to waste with the stuff I'm using...

PS - since I've cut back to feeding once a day, almost ALL my fish are eating off it, which really makes a mess fast. My parrotfish, a blue damsel, even the clownfish will come and nip at it.

yes lots of fish will eat nori, and as for the mess, you can always try a feeding clip that is kind of netted-like

I have one of those - for some reason the yellow tank won't touch it, and the blue tang's mouth is shaped wrong to get to much of what's inside.

where are you getting the nori from? I get my at the local grocer and it takes about 2 days to fall apart. I know because i left it in there to see how long it would take without fish eating it.

From a health food store (World Foods I think). It falls apart in minutes. Not completely, but big flakes will come off it and float around, ending up in my overflow box's sponge.

This is where i get mine. My hippo and foxface Lo go NUTS over it. It seems to stay intact for a long time unless they just tear it to pieces.
