Leather with a "Bite" out of it.

Hello. I have a toadstool mushroom with an area that looks like something took a thumb nail size chunk out of it. Should I give it a dip in sea water + Lugols to aid in it's recovery?? RRRRR

It ought to be fine as is, but I'd sure want to know what did it. Was it in reach of another leather? In the outflow of another leather? Do you have a nipping fish?

It could be from another coral or contact with the rock.
