filling tank with garden hose

I want to quickly fill my 180 to test for level. I was wondering if the cold water from my garden hose would be a problem? Anyone else use this method?

ive done it before. not for settinng up the tank but for a leak test it should be fine. i doubt the water in your hose is anywhere near cold enough do do any harm. can it even get that cold without freezing first? hmmm...
