Sequence Tarpon good pump?

I was looking to see what the Sequence Tarpon users have to say about their pump.
Haven't seen alot of talk about them.
How quiet are they? Compaired to what?
Are they holding up?

I just bought one but haven't set it up yet. All I can say about it so far is it's HUGE!!!! Measurements are about 15 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 9. I'm hoping it works out well and is fairly quiet.

I called Reeflo yesterday and they said they had no data on the actual db's that it put out. But they did say that comment you made about the size seems to be universal,"everybody are completely surprised about how big they are".

I was planning on using a Poseidon P-4 for my return pump, but I decided to add some more pvc 45 degree fittings to the line and figured the little P-4 would be up to the task, so I am looking at the Tarpon.

But I want to know,,,"How quiet is it" ?

I don't have a dart to compare it.
Would it be as noisy as a Pan World or Little Giant ?

If its louder than the Dart then you may want to consider ampmaster instead. The Dart was much louder than the ampmaster 2100 I ran.

The reason I wanted to use the Tarpon is the smaller suction and discharge fitting sizes, plus I wanted lower flow.

I have a Tarpon and it makes a whizzing noise from the fan that's always on. The only thing I can compare it to is a similar rated Iwaki pump and the Tarpon is more noticeable.

I've been running the Tarpon for about 6 months and find it much more quiet than the Iwaki 40 I was running. There is some fan noise and the biggest issue was putting it on a vibration dampening pad so that it didn't vibrate.

I like it because it doesn't add nearly as much heat as the Iwaki.
