Putting in a 180G. Do I need to add support to my floor?

I'm upgrading from a 90G to a 180G which will go in a different part of the house. What is nice is this part of the house has unfinished basement so I will do a basement sump.

As the pic shows, the joists are perpendicular to the tank which is good. The tank will be against an outside wall. I'm not sure where the tank will sit on the joists. It will catch 4 of them since it is a 6' tank and the joists are 16" on center.

Do I need to add a carrying beam out in front of the tank as shown? If not needed, good idea? Waste of effort?

Thanks

my answer to questions like this (whether they are aquarium related or not) is always:

if you can afford it and it will keep you from worrying, then certainly.

I'd add it. Would not only keep me from from jumping out of bed every time I heard something squeak, but will also eliminate any floor bounce. If you happen to have any kids, dogs, or guests that will run by it anyway The posts and a beam are cheap for the assurance you'll have, even if it is on an outside wall and perp. to the joists.

I was thinking the same thing about the floor bounce. I have kids and a dog. They have made the 90G slosh around a little a few times. Who needs those expensive wave boxes?
