Ammoina test kit, color?
hi i use the red sea ammonia test kit and it turns a bright almost florcent green on me, what is this reading or am i doing something very wrong?

I had bad experiences with my Red Sea test kits, including the ammonia. Your kit might not be working at all. I'd try getting a LFS to run an ammonia test and see what that says.

I agree....I used the same kit and got a reading of .25 ammonia and .25 nitrite for about 2 1/2 weeks with fully cured live rock. I then tested my water against freshly made water and it was the same. Had it tested at the LFS and everything was at 0. I would suggest getting another test kit: Laborett or Salifert.
