Meeting place for tank move for Saturday

If you need directions my cell phone is 314-503-7589

So we dont scare the neighbors at Georges neighborhood lets meet at the intersection of hwy 109 and hwy 100 (manchester) at the gas station that right there at 1:00. Only gas station around. If you are coming out manchester, just exit hwy 109 and its to your left.

Roy I got your message, hope it all works out. Keep me posted

I dont think it will be as tough as we are thinking thanks to a HUGE dolly i have that has treads on the back of it for creeping up stairs

Thanks again anyone who can help!

Clark

Do you have use for somebody who has no intention of helping to lift the tank itself? Are you moving rock, sand, equipment, etc also? (After "helping" with my 180, I am quite happy leaving heavy, glass boxes to the boys.)

I'm sure I'd learn a thing or two if I came.

Clark, there are actually two gas stations at 109 and Manchester. There is a BP and a Phillips 66.

We'll probably need all the help we can get.

Clark, the Phillips has been up for at least 3 years

Griss how wide are your stairs? Surely all of us can't go up them with the tank at the same time?

Sorry I will not be making it tomorrow.

If anyone has tips on how to resolve a stolen credit account fill me in. I'm out about $1700 and its going to take a bit dealing with the bank and my debit card. I'm about -330 as of now.

Police action begins tomorrow although I am not sure what they do about this. It more than likly out of state and such so do I call the Feds?

Grrrrrrr...the bank said this could take 45-60 days to fix. Double Grrrrrrrrr.

So I will not be making it to help. Sorry all

Have fun tomorrow ladies and germs...be careful that you do not hurt yourselves, each other or the tanks!! I wish you a lot of luck and hope things go smoothly for all parties involved.

Wow - who is the bank that issued the card?? My card was stolen (for the 2nd time) a couple of weeks ago - not physically stolen, but the info stolen and used fraudulently. I hadn't even noticed yet - Chase Bank's fraud dept called me to ask if I had tried to use my card to send $700 through Western Union. Uh, no. Luckily Chase blocked that transaction. The guy had successfully made a couple of smaller purchases before that one - Chase just asked me about the last several transactions and took my word for which ones were mine and which weren't. The fraudulent transactions were removed from the statement before I ever even got it... so it didn't cost me anything, even temporarily. Point is, how it's handled probably depends on your card issuer. I'm sure they'll tell you what you need to do.

EDIT: Oops - sorry, I just noticed that you said it was your DEBIT card!! Yikes.

My parents had the same thing happen a few years ago. Somehow their bank was able to track down the person (they lived in CA) and in the end it all worked out. Hope the same happens for you

The back is doing ok but not good enough to lift a tank. Super tinder and if I get to cocky it causes me grief.

Not too many hands at all, as I have a plan to blanket wrap the tank then shrink wrap the whole thing, but it on a reefer dolly with stair creepers and straps for the 4-6 people above to pull on to pull it up the stairs while 2-3 of us push from the bottom

Main think is no damage wish us luck
