How did you get your RBTA to stay put..
I got one of these for my new tank but it keeps roaming around. It just came in today at about 1 pm eastern. I can't get it to stay put even by boxing him in. I saw you had one in your gallery Randy. I as just curious what your technique was. I bought a tomato clown along with the anenome. I am worried mostly because I have a ton of rock and mt tank is setup in a rock wall format and if it moves to the way back (which I had to stop it from doing twice) it could be doomed.

It will most likely move to where the flow and lighting are comfortable for it. I have had one for about 6 months and it pretty much stays in it's corner (however it picked it's corner). It split and now both on them are happy in the same corner. Be prepared to move corals and such until it finds where it wants to be.

I boxed mine in with live rock to keep it from blowing away until it attached. It has pretty much stayed in place with a few apparent small movements. I guess it likes it there.
In general, however, you can't force them to stay somewhere if they want to move. I'll move this to the main forum where more folks will likely see it. ![]()

Thanks guys. Sorry for posting in the chem section. I actually got mine to stay put in the middle of the night. When I awoke this morning, I saw my clown inside. Lets just say i feel really happy and proud to bear witness to such a beautiful and amazing symbiosis.
