Household cleaners
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend aquarium safe household cleaners for the kitchen, etc? What about the Kirkland (costco) Multi-Purpose Cleaner, which claims to be non-toxic? What do you use in areas near your aquarium? Thanks! |

I like the BioKleen natural products. (They have them at Whole Foods.) The Kirkland products seem toxic to me. I don't use anything right on my tank. I just wipe the outside glass with a dry towel.

I don't use anything directly on the tank. I'm concerned about cleaning the kitchen, which is a few feet from the tank. Thus far, I have just used water on the areas nearest the tank.

I use white vinegar and warm water to clean the glass.Watch out for windex it's loaded with ammonia.
