Too much light for frag tank

I have a 20L frag tank setup with a 250W 14KK MH light about 8" above the water. I have several tiers of frags, and the top frags seem to consistantly bleach. I also cannot keep any zoos unless they are under a ledge/rock/upper tiered frags. Would it be beneficial to go to 20KK lights due to the lower PAR, or should I get a lower wattage light. The frags all come from my main tank which is the same color bulbs and wattage.
Thanks,
Joe

Seems to me you only need a 150. 250 IMO is way too much.

try going to a 20k bulb. its less money than any other option, unless someone would trade a 175w mh rig for your 250 watter.

and i really dont think that is too much light. maybe you need to acclimate the zoos with screening?

I think I'll try several options. I can only lift the light another 4-5", so I'll do that. I will also go with a 20KK bulb. That might bring out better color in my frags anyway. Thanks for suggestions.
