RO Unit

Maybe I am half way blind but I couldn't find anything about RO units. I know I've seen people talk about them in threads but I wanted to see what you guys... the experts think.

I have a 10 year old HI-S Maxxima 35gpd unit that is wasted away. Replacing the parts for it cost way more than a newer RO Unit on Ebay. I've been using tap water that I run through a carbon / phosban unit but this has to stop immediately because I hate making my GSP suffer.

What do you guys think about the Ebay units? From what I can tell they are made in China. That part I don't care about. I live in Kentucky. We have very hard water here. They are cheap and right now that is good.

If you want something comparable to the Kent unit look here:

http://www.spectrapure.com/St_MaxCap-RO-DI.htm

You won't find anything else even close to this unit for the price.
